Katerina Vassilakou is graduate of the National Technical University of Athens –School of Architecture- in 2003, she has been awarded a Masters of Architecture in 2007 by the same institution. Furthermore, she has participated in seminars at the University of Thessaly, Department of Architecture and has enjoyed an architectural placement at the “Faculte Polytechnique de Mons FPMS Belgium. Together with associate Angeliki Athanasiadou, the “Technical Chamber of Athens” has awarded them with the 2nd annual prize for their Diploma Project.Her professional experience includes her collaborations with noted architectural firms in Athens such as "Potiropoulos D+L" and “EATM – L Kalivitis and Associates” and architect Nikos Ktenas, amid others. Her work experience, within the frame of these collaborations, includes the design of a Hotel Complex in Epidaurus Area, two Leisure House Complexes in Andros Island (13 units in total), and several private houses in the areas of Ekali, Psihiko, Parnitha, Papagos and Kolonaki, as well as the design for the Larissa FC Football Stadium. Since 2010, in her private practice along with Angeliki Athanasiadou, she has performed a wide range of architectural renovation studies, managing projects of various scales for both the private and the public sector, and in tailored-design for exclusive interiors. Together, they have designed a number of leisure houses in the Greek countryside (Mykonos, Methoni, Mani) and in the capital. Recently, they have been assigned with the Architectural Study for the "Open Air Market" for the Municipality of Messini.
